    Hi,

So I purchased OME Dakar mediums and is the name “dakar” part of OME? I read through the forums and I keep seeing the name Dakar been thrown around. Or is the name Dakar short for OME leaf springs.

For instance, I currently own Deaver springs and I know that’s the brand name.

I apologize for the noob question. It’s been bugging me for a while now. Thanks.

OME is the brand. Dakar is the leaf pack name.

Kind of like Toyota is the brand, Tacoma is the truck name.

OME makes a lot of products so if you just say OME we have no idea what product you are talking about which is why people use the Dakar name.

Deaver only makes springs so if you say Deaver we all know what it is.
