    It was a fun commuter car for me. I thought about keeping it for my son who will turn 16 in a year and a half, but I think it would be a little too quick for him as a beginner driver...especially if he were to drive it the way I drove as a 16 yr old.

    Agreed.. my 00 GTI VR6 was the first car I bought myself after a 1996 Mazda 626 hand me down.. New(er) GTI's are much faster and there was no reason/way 17 year old me needed to be driving that car.

    When my truck is paid for, I want to pick up another GTI as my commuter car. Great cars. Fun, fast, sporty and good MPG's.

    I used to be stationed down in San Antonio and lived in Stone Oak. Did a bunch of fishing around Boerne!

    Looks sweet! We are looking at a 19 DCSB OR AT within a month or so....trying to figure out the best price!
