    Wow, that is a great explanation thanks. The switch will likely be mislabeled so I don't know if I want it illuminated. Now that I think of it my fog lights and locker are not illuminated either. I have an 05. This will leep me from using an aircraft toggle switch. Thanks.

    Luckily these switches are very simple. Pushing the switch simply links together green and red 1. Red 2 and ground are only needed for illumination purposes.

    As long as your parking brake wire (light green from pioneer harness) goes to green or red 1, and the other (green or red 1) is grounded, you’re all set.
