    Hey all!

I’m interested to see if a camper shell could suit my needs. I’m 6’2” and I got a long bed (6’). There is pretty much no chance of me fitting in the bed sleeping straight. My head hits the cab wall and my feet are flat against the tailgate.

Is there any way that I could make a camper shell work for me?

My biggest problem is that I want to add a drawer system for camera gear and a cooking drawer (stovetop/table). Could I put in a double drawer and just sleep on top of it diagonally?

Pictures of setups would help. The max height I want to go is cab height. Thanks!

I'm 6'2" and I camp in my Snugtop Rebel without a problem. When I'm by myself I sleep diagonally. My feet and head don't touch the ends. When I go camping with my wife I'm forced to sleep lengthwise. My head and feet touch a little but it's not too bad. My cap is cab height and I have enough headroom not to feel claustrophobic. But there's no way I'd want a platform with a cab height cap. Since I took this picture, I've removed the front "shelf" because I didn't like it over my head.
