Suddenly decided that I can’t stand the chrome surround on my OEM Grill. I like the OEM + look but until I do a full satoshi this will have to do. I think it looks 100x better. I tend to prefer the simple & clean looks.

You know you can knock those washers off the bolts then put the D-ring on then put the washer back on.

Went over to @Red Baron place today despite the temps in the 30s drizzly rain we/he Derped my hood, we installed my new CB and diag. my old one as being shot, and I replaced my inner and outer tie rods. Yes I know I need a new rack boot just forgot to order a new one when I bought the tie rods can do that another day though.

I did not know. How do I go about that? It would definitely clean it up.

Loosen the bolt up to the point that the washer can slide past the retaining threads and get a socket big enough to fit over the head of the bolt then hit with a hammer until it is free. It will bend the washer a tiny bit but just put it on the same side up as it was and it'll flatten out when you tighten the bolt.

Do you mean flip the outer from mounting below to on top of the spindle? Why would you want to? You can I have some tapered cutters for making tapered holes for ball joints, tie rods, etc. The only issue is it'll be on a different arc pattern and you could introduce some bump steer into it. Toyota did a good job with their joints all being in a good arc pattern to not have bump steer issues.

I added seat heaters and Clazzio seat covers. Next weekend I'll have to actually wire in the seat heaters.
