Been looking for some type of dash/extra alarm system and saw these, how good are the alerts on your phone if let’s say someone triggers it and your at work? And do you like the system or tbd?

Swapped my 2017 suspension for ‘18 TRD off-road suspension. Swapped the grill with a TRD pro grill.

Grandma and Grandpa gifted my 20 year old son their 2001 Tacoma with 247,000 miles on the clock. Now I have a driveway buddy and more projects to do with my kid. This thing runs like it came off the lot yesterday. Just needs tires, new headlamps and couple other tiny cosmetic things. My son is over himself so excited.

 

why new headlights? they look foggy. use the 3m Kit to remove the yellow. i used that kit on my girls VW. worked out great.

I installed my homemade roof rack today. I'm still missing a rail for the rear to clear the shark fin.

 

Lift Tires Wheels CMC and ECGS Bushing swap.

 

Yep, I've used those kits before. Still have one sitting in the garage. More a gift to him than anything else. Wife and I am gifting him all new lighting, so we can pretend to be worried parents. LOL. who knows why we do what we do.

 

Turned out good. Much noise without a deflector?

 

Thanks, only a slight rumbling noise. I had a whistling noise until I installed the light bar. The deflector is in the works.

Pics were taken with other ambient lights around, with a cell phone. No photography skills here. Hope the difference comes through. In person it's like the difference between an old Mini-Mag light and your favorite 18650 light these days.

The color difference is obvious, but the brightness really isn't. In person it's a world of difference!

Took like 5 minutes. We'll see how long they last. I put the OEM bulbs in the glovebox as spares.

 

Wanna swap the muffler. Anyone known the length of the factory muffler body?

Leaning towards a dynomax ultra flo 6in round. Liked it on my 3.6 so itll probably sound good on a 3.5
