Well I traded my 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport long bed with TRD SuperCharger. The power will be missed other than that. I’m no really missing the Taco! The JBL is definitely missed also!

Thanks. Not bad actually, I had enough equity in my taco that is was the same as when I bought the Taco in 14. Had I sold the Taco private party I could have gotten more but I was more than satisfied with the dealers trade allowance.

What all was added in with the XP package? I seen one in my area (north central Indiana) that belongs to the local electrical utility companies. I had major double take when I first seen it.

The main reason for getting a 4Runner over Taco is the enclosed trunk. Reclining rear seats are very nice for moving or hauling stuff. Don't have to worry about getting stuff wet.

Hopefully in 3 years, Taco will be paid off and I’ll have the downpayment for a 5th gen.

Great choice, went from 11 Taco to a 18 ORP. Never looked back. Here’s mine.

I am thinking about changing from a 2nd gen 06 tacoma OR Access cab to a new 4Runner TRD Pro, am concerned if I can still camp/sleep in the back of the 4runner like I do in my Leer 180 shell. I do use my truck for towing a 17 ft casita travel trailer and for towing my 08 rhino side by side. I know the running gear of the 4runner is up to the towing task, since its same running gear as my current rig. I camp for a week at a time in the outback of Nevada. Takes a lot of gear. I think its probably doable. I also like the idea of a Japanese mfg 4runner, with tried and true running gear. Rather than the 3.5L Lexus car engine and mismatched auto 6 spd.

I have both a 2018 Tacoma Pro and 2019 4Runner Pro. Really impressed with the 4Runner so far. Feels much more solid and the cabin space in the rear is plenty, more than I had expected.

How ironic. I have the same truck and use it for camping also. I am wondering if I can sleep in a 4runner. Anyone's insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Tim

Have a 17 tacoma sr5 4x4 and a 19 4runner off road. Both are great. I tow mostly with the taco ( 1800 lb trailer). I got the computer update and tow in s4 with ect on. Does great. The 3.5 is at home above 3000 rpm. S4 holds it there going around 70.

I have an '18 off road Tacoma...after 15 years I'm finally thinking of ditching a stick for an auto. I've always loved 4runners but never considered getting one cause I just live pickups. That changed when I drove my buddy's T4R Pro. Now I'm real tempted. Is the Runner significantly more comfortable to be in? Still on the fence

Nice ride. I’m thinking on doing the same with my 2017 Off Road ( Inferno) because my daughter is getting to tall for the backseat.... decisions decisions
I wish they still made the vehicles in Inferno...

Yes. it is WAY more comfy than the Tacoma. Go test drive one, you won't want to get out of it.
