What's the first offense above the license plate. Oh the joys of living in NC no front plate required and no stupid laws about fender flares/mud flaps or tires sticking out too far from the fenders. tint thing we are in the same boat but that is usually a secondary offense and you actually have to get busted by an officer that carries a tint meter.

The mud flaps a fix or straight fine??

He warns you over tint but bends you over for flaps.... unreal.

nothing above the plate, just empty check boxes for speeding stuff. yeah he didnt measure anything, just said it was dark

i looked up the law, and measured my hc so technically i only need a 2" mudflap to comply

yeah its a fix it, i already made some flaps for when they need proof

on a positive note, got abs/traction control to engage on the truck -- was getting worried it wasnt active anymore after the bbk install. Need to test a trac before confirming but resetting sensors, clearing old codes, and running active tests on techstream helped resolved my issue

in what situation would you be disabling it for? Doesnt it all turn off when in 4lo?

Well I don’t have traction control or a trac, so I wired in an abs kill switch. I added it after attempting to climb a short, extremely steep and slick hill one time. I would almost make it to the top but lose traction, so I’d hit the brakes and abs engaged and I just slid backwards quickly. Scared the shit outta me. So now I disable it offroad and also when driving in the snow because I don’t want it to engage and send me sliding. I did a couple tests in a parking lot with the snow we recently got, and I came to a stop pretty nicely. In my old Scion I had abs kick on a couple times when approaching a red light and I barely stopped in time.

You’re probably thinking driver error or I was going too fast, but I promise I wasn’t. There are other reports of people on here with finicky abs engagement in inclement weather.

So there’s my long winded response haha and no, abs doesn’t disengage in 4LO

That’s surprising! I tested hard stops in snow with abs engaged and it turned on consistently and easily. These trucks are weird man haha
