    To whom it may concern,

I am overwhelmingly enthused to be writing to you with the sentiment I am. After all, I did just painstakingly go through the process of ordering/ installing new rims and tires for my stock 2018 Tacoma (TRD Sport), through the dread of thread-crunching and tire-size-calculator-punching. Worrying every moment until completion, that the advice sought online was both correct, and yet, also false! For those who have done this same task, you know exactly what I mean.

A simple search on Google or TW threads, will lead you down a rabbit hole of both success and horror stories of going up tire sizes on specifically stock Tacomas. Some posts aim to be clear cut, but only add to the confusion as other posts insist you can go bigger, or worse, must go smaller (throwing in various tire dimensions all along the way)! Constantly cross-checking sources, sizes, types, dimensions, manufacturers, etc. Alas, there is hope in sight!

While countless threads and posts contributed very well to my understanding of this topic, one Youtube video stood out the most for answering my question at the end of the day. Regardless of all the intricacies, what is the absolute max tire diameter that can be put on a stock 3G Tacoma, without rubbing or mods? The answer is shockingly ambiguous. That is, until I saw KD's Youtube video, properly titled, "Fitting 33's Stock! | 2017 Tacoma TRD OffRoad Build".

He laid it all out pretty clearly, with proper video evidence to support, and with solutions relative to the situation to remedy any headaches it may cause doing it yourself. Truthfully, to extrapolate among his experience and now mine, 33" is the max with minor adjustments and still minimal rubbing in certain positions, 32" is the max without any rubbing or adjustments, and 31" is playing it safe! Bigger than that max, lift 'er up!

PS- All joking aside, TW played a major role in helping with my decision and getting proper measurements done to make an educated purchase. Thanks to all who contributes! Now, let's see them wheel upgrades!

I don't see where you posted what you actually ended up putting on there. Brand and size?
