You may notice it looks a little taller here... The previous suspension setup drooped a little more than expected. The tires started rubbing, so I had to lift it a smidge more. I put the front OME's and 5100's on the 2nd notch vice the 1st notch which is +1".
Then to match it, I threw a 1" block under the Dakar leaf pack in the rear. Only reason I did this was to get the wheels to stop rubbing. But I've had zero regrets so far. No weird noises. No vibrations. Drives great despite being lifted more than like everyone recommends. I'm 24.5" from hub to fender.
Also, you can see I got rid of the Limited Emblems finally. I did however put a Zombie Edition emblem under the mirrors -_-

Leer 100XQ. This really helped settle the rear level, road better from extra weight, and cut way down on road/wind noise.

Great build. If I may ask, is the ride quality much better going from the leveling kit to the actual suspension lift?

    It rides a little better.
Where it truly shines is functionality.
I used to bottom out my shocks all the time. And my tailgate would sag a foot with any real load.
I have much longer travel now, and I haven't bottomed out my shocks yet with the new system. And my tailgate barely sags an inch with a load now.

Looks dope. Was the front/back level before the leer cap or rear slightly higher? When I do my lift I want it level.

The shell dropped the rear maybe 1/2".
I'm still 1/4" tall in the rear, which IMO is perfect for aerodynamics, mpg, hauling, towing, etc.

Ok. Thanks man. I won’t have a shell so I would skip the block.

    ...stuff
You put the 5100s on the first notch with OME 888s? I believe you are not supposed to preload those. You should lower those back to the bottom perch and add in a small spacer

So, I emailed @HeadStrong Off-Road today to see if there's a better way to set up the suspension.
But if i'm correct, i'll have to add a .5" top plate spacer to each side to get the clearance I have now (after putting the 5100's back to the first setting). If the 2nd setting is indeed +1". I mean, I guess I could do their 10mm spacers on each side and take out the 1" block in the rear.

So, after talking to a couple people yesterday :frusty: I called Headstrong and decided to alter my suspension.

I ordered (1) 1/2 inch top plate spacer with extended bolts from it.
I also ordered a pair of 1/2 inch blocks to go under the rear suspension from toytec.

I'm going to remove the pre load from the front suspension by putting them back on the first notch (no lift) and move the current 1/4 inch lean spacer to the passenger side. And install the new 1/2 spacer to the driver side.
So i'll be adding 1/2 inch lift and removing 1" pre load. So I should actually be lowering the front end 1/2 inch, but getting better ride, better angles.

To match the front, i'll take out the 1" blocks and replace them with the new .5" blocks.

I did go back to stock.
It screamed ALL the time. Of course that was before my ovtune. I'm sure it would be a lot better now.

I've read adding intake is more for the sound and not really gains in hp. So the sound wasn't pleasant? I was hoping that it was a good sound.
