I have a 2016 Tacoma and am experiencing smoking and smelly front brakes. I had the rotors turned but still have the same problem especially when braking from high speed or coming down mountains. Is anyone else have same problem?

First for me. One would think that you're driving too fast or waiting too long to brake or simply riding your brakes. Seriously, never heard of anyone having consistent issues about this. Of course, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt since you only have two posts.......

In a million miles I’ve never seen smoking brakes front of rear in a passenger vehicle on regular roads.

Check that you’re not leaking brake fluid. Also, descending down hills use your brakes sparingly, you want a lower gear in both auto trans and manual trans, i.e. engine braking
