Its not how you drive in snow, tne thing Ive noticed when it happens- the wheel hop got better whenever I added weight to the back, and also ever since I put on a single Deaver leaf - axle wrap is the culprit.

I’ve been down unmaintained roads like that too. I remember stopping to pull a lot of underwear out of my ass after I was out.
Beautiful scenery though. Glad you made it.

Dang, dont go walking out after midnight on a weekend in Bear Valley, CA. Seems like the whole town leaves the bar at the same time and drive their snow mobiles home without lights or being able to walk straight if they tried!:drunk::curls: :goingcrazy:

I have 500lbs in the bed. Minimize bounce it normally means something is about to break. I wish I recorded the way out because to be clear, the snowmobiles only turned me around, I drove myself out. It was midnight and 30 below, scary shit .It was fucking awesome . It was also more difficult .

It's VT. Towns handle the maps. 90% of the roads have PVT on them if they're private. Still up to the driver to know if it's public or private before you hit a non paved road.

VT can be really tricky. Done from Bennington to past Rutland. General rule of thumb I find is it takes a good amount of planning before going off road .

Looks like you had fun though. More coming this weekend !

Love the west- nothing like turning off the main hwys and having miles of public lands and open trails, with many remote places to camp in them!

I definitely didn't do any planning. I hope to be up by Stowe at the end of the month.

Yup. Just how America worked out. North east is a bit older and resource rich. Still plenty to do out here though

Nice. We'll have fun. Also, as I mentioned , town maps are law. Don't go by Gaia or back country or any of those. Posted trail signs are a good exception. But the goal is always to not get anything shut down and to leave it better than when we came.

OnX is awesome! We were on tracks in the back country of eastern Oregon and it showed not only our location but some tracks that I would be generous to call goat trails.

The amount of awesome areas to explore in northern AZ is ridiculous!
