Went to dealership and they tested the battery and it is in good condition. They think it was me not pushing the clutch all the way in. I know this is not the issue as. The first time it happened I had engaged the clutchlesss start (truck in neutral) so I could get the heater on before getting ski boots off.

Next best guess? I’m asking them to double check connections etc.

It wouldn't be the first time a stealership tested a battery good, that turned bad after all. Having said that, it maybe good news on that front.

Do put the battery on a slow trickle charge as mentioned above. Make sure battery cables are clean, good & tight as a virgin because believe you me, that somehow bypasses some stealerships too.

The clutch not being fully depressed crossed my mind, as does a loose clutch sensor connector or bad switch.

    Cheers

It’s a extra USB port for charging or powering devices with built in voltage meter....which measures the voltage of the battery and when the vehicle is running measures the voltage the alternator is putting out...available on Amazon for about 17 bucks. Fits nicely in factory empty switch slot.
