This is why I tell my wife we gotta get out and go as often as we can, no kids yet, plenty of time and money to go on adventures while we can .

Crawl Control would have got you out of it, no problem. Good for you for pushing your truck the limit.

Looks like you got on that bridge, which had ice underneath the snow on it, and that was that.
    Interesting.
You didn't get stuck in the snow, you got stuck on the ice.

This might be my favorite post in a while. If I saw that road I would have gone down it just the same especially if it was in the afternoon. People getting all mad are weird. You saw the map, saw the road, looked fun, went down. I thought this thread would be fun until every self righteous MF gave their two cents about what they would have done differently. And also who knew snowmobile guys were so cranky?

I've had excellent results with airing down in snow. As in I was stuck going up a hill, aired down to 10 psi and went up the hill.

I've been doin a lot of spinning around in the snow because it's so fun! I had to use 4wd on this really narrow road that might have been a driveway! It was kinda creepy, but it was fun!

It's the 3" mbrp .It sounds nice but it's so cheaply made that it vibrates uncontrollably and the noise vibrates your eyeballs . I suggest the stainless version, though I had that on my f150 and the welds rusted out in less than a year .
