    Hello everyone,

    This is my very first Toyota i have ever had. It is a 1989 SR5 Pickup, 3.0L v6, 5 speed, 4x4.

    Thanks for the welcome. I will be getting new front quarter panels and bed side panels for the truck as the ones that are on there are rusting out. after that i will be upgrading the alternator so i can put in a full stereo system.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    If you have body rust, I'd be petrified of the frame condition.

    Hopefully you've thoroughly inspected (as in beat, probed, borescoped) the frame and found it in solid shape. Frame is the 'rust point' on these trucks.

    You don't want to be dropping a pile of fix up money in it and wind up like this.
