Whats your favorite outdoor watch? I have an Apple Watch 3, but I’m growing very tired of having to charge it all the time and on top of that, it can be fragile for the activities I do and line of work.

I’ve been eyeing a couple of watches but am looking for more suggestions. I’m super interested in an ABC Watch that’s solar powered and I’ve been looking at the Casio PRG-650Y, Casio GWG1000-1A3, and the Suunto Core. I’ve looked at several Garmins but I don’t like the charging aspect, trying to get away from that. What are you suggestions or experience? Looking for something that’s going to be durable and not die out. I’ve been reading mixed reviews about the Suunto Core but I like the features and style.

I wouldn't call a apple watch a outdoor watch.... something like a g-shock or the like I would consider a outdoor watch.

Definitely not by any means. That’s why I’m moving away from it.

Those are great, but don’t offer anything more than the time. I tend to go on long hikes or back packing trips and more features would be useful for my line of work.

Uhhh right... if that’s too basic, a standard G shock is what you’re asking for. If that’s too expensive, idk bro

What features do you want? I love my Amazfit Bip. Battery lasts a month, has GPS for workout tracking, gets my incoming texts via Bluetooth. And it was only $60.

Brute Force bumpers, TRD FauxLocks, 5100s & 885s, Falken Wildpeaks, SnugTop MVP Shell, Tuffy Bed Box, Console Vault, Fogs anytime, ImMrYo mirror bracket, Wet Okoles, aFe Pro Dry S, PowerStop Z36 pads & drilled/slotted rotors, more shit I can't remember
Love (both) my Casio Pro Trek PRG-300

Bought a camo one with a negative (black) display and an orange/army green one with a standard display. The standard display is way easier to see especially from an angle.

Both work great, have taken them swimming, hiking, hunting, etc. I find that the altitude needs to be calibrated somewhat often and the temperature tends to be a bit high from contact with me wrist. Barometer is always spot on.

I looked at it and like it a lot and all the features but it’s just the charging every 2-3 days that gets me. I set my budget around $400-$500 so I’ve been looking at a variety.

I’ve been trying to find one with a negative display on Amazon but I can’t, I like how it looks a lot. Will definitely be adding it to my list. Thanks!
