So today on my way to work I noticed that my right headlight wasn’t on. Left one worked just fine. I flicked the switch off and back on and it came on. This is the second time this has happened. Power is coming straight from the battery and no loose connections. Any ideas?

Oh and it’s the Morimoto H11 kit ordered from The Retrofit Source.

I would check the relay box that comes in the kit. When mine started getting flakey, they would do the same thing. Flipping the light switch off and back on usually got the lights to come back on, until it totally dies. Ive been through 3 of the relays in about 7 years (Im to blame for one of them going bad, due to being submerged during a deep water crossing). Finally just gave up on their relay boxes, and wired a set of my own relays in parallel, so even if one died, I still have lights.

Your Motocontrol relay that's part of the wiring harness is going bad. I had the same problem.

Replace the relay or warranty the motocontrol harness.
