I was mistaken, I have a auto headlight switch, but if I push the turn signal thing forward it also sets it for auto high beams.

I found a rattling coming from the same spot in my truck . Drove me nuts. I used it as an excuse to do the tweeter upgrade. After taking it apart I traced it to the speaker mount itself . Still need to get the tape in the right place to make it stop.

I have a rattle on that side too driving me nuts. Thought it was from when Toyota replaced the blower unit on a recall. Hope it's same as yours. Once I find it I'll fix the sucker.

I would super glue that plug in and be done with it.

They're not bad if you know their limitations. The only thing I still haven't understood quite yet is at which range they activate, seems to never be consistent, bastard once turned back on in between two passing cars, flashing the second one, felt bad for the guy lol

I too was wondering why they would go on and off like crazy the first time I used them on the highway, when I noticed they also pick up tail lights even if they are far ahead of me.

There's a sensitivity adjuster for your auto beams in the HU. Can't access while you're driving though so it's hard to see the differences.
