As a matter of keeping the cats from knocking stuff into the toilet, we always close the lid. So, either way, we both have to open it.

I have a couple that need to put one on yet. Bought a sander and jig to do my own and have done about half a dozen. But is worth paying someone else to do it!

Got one of those on an Ithaca 37 Skeet gun that I picked up cheap. Because someone put a polychoke on it. After a year finally found an unmolested 37S barrel for it but needs fitted yet. Those old guns with polychokes are hard to sell. Works great with an ultralight that is muzzle light but upset the balance of a properly balanced gun. And did I mention they are ugly?!

Because of the dog I keep my lids up. Have 3 water bowls in the house for him and guess where his favorite place to drink is...

Only 7:20 here. Just put the steaks on for the son and I. Need to defrost the freezer so been digging food out of it the last week or so. Found a package of homemade bacon. A capsteak, ribeye and 2 sirloins yesterday.

 

I stopped at a friend, coworker and neighbor's house (It's all the same guy) the other day just to bs. He and I both had the same idea/comment. "It's a good time to eat down the freezers". We haven't bought any meat since before Christmas and still a couple layers from the bottom. But we still have leftovers so I bag them up and put those in the freezer so it's been "2 step forward, 1 step back" on this mission.

those grates give you the best grill marks ive seen!the salamander where i cooked when young would do them like that..super high heat.

I believe I missed that chance when they moved the acceptance testing to Atlanta, and there are no plans for any new machines right now. But who knows? Maybe some training

 

Lived in NOLA for 8 years, Yosemite for 3. We’ve had more guests who ask to come visit (and have) in the one year we’ve lived here than the their two combined. My friends know there’s always an open door.
