What brand of promoter, top coat, and clear coat did you use? I am going this route.0F3AED7D-B692-4510-89F9-8C9365CE2261.jpg

Totally different brands :D I think I used duplicolor adhesive promoter, then SW color match paint (quicksand) and Krylon clear coat.

Found your post when searching threads for how to get rid of chrome caps. I like the cheap route of plasti dipping the caps. What did you do to prep the chrome caps? Did you sand or spray directly over the chrome?

I bought these today, gunna give them a shot. Ecological bumper covers were almost $400 and couldn’t justify it. I hope they are worth it! I didn’t realize how bad that chrome actually looks lol

Couldn't bring myself to pay $100 per on those end caps. Nor did I want to spend the asinine $100 on emblem overlays...

So I went with the DIY method of spraying onto the vehicle with taped off sections. Just wrote about it on my build page.

    TIPS
Get two cans of plasti-dip. Be patient with this method. Dont spray in wind :crapstorm::cookiemonster:
