Ugh....

Been a early morning person my whole life.

I've worked 6:30-3:00 for 18+ years. This week my boss asked if I could change to 8:30-5:00 (as that's what he and my other 2 teammates work). It's never been an issue and I've stayed later more often than not. I countered with 7:30-4:00 and he agreed.

I will be leaving promptly at 4:00 now.

 

Dang it. Hope you can get used to it. I know it's nice having afternoons off. Basically like having 2 days every day.

Never been a morning person. Absolutely despise it. But I’ve always been able to stay up all night and loved it. I’d rather be awake when the rest of the world is sleeping. Always loved night photography also. Plus with that is there’s no one around to get in the photo. Lol

 

Hey Murph I have a question . What digital camera would you recommend for a beginner that will not break the bank ? Maybe up to $350ish

Anything special you're looking for like waterproof or just general camera?

I've had a Nikon Coolpix before that did pretty well. Also had a Canon one that did nice photo's. I mean probably most in that price range would do pretty well. You're not getting bottom of the barrel and not top end either. The problem I've always had with them and it didn't matter on the brand was that after a while they just seemed to slow down and not take the photo when you mashed the shutter button. That just aggravated the shit out of me. I'd say look at the reviews on them and get one with a lot of reviews that are pretty high. Something with 3000 4 stars is better than something with 100 5 stars. I haven't bought a point n shoot in probably 12 years or so. My mom uses them all the time and she asked me last time about one. I offered up a Nikon mirrorless camera. They are a lot better than the regular point n shoot ones. I believe Nikon has completely dropped that line though and moved to higher end mirrorless. Looking quickly at B&H Photo Canon makes the M100 which being a Canon should perform pretty well. Plus like the Nikon has interchangeable lenses is you want something different in the future. It is a little over what you stated on budget but if you can pull that I think you'd be happier than with a plain point n shoot camera. Panasonic (Lumix) make nice camera's also along with Fuji. A friend of mine has one of the Olympus M(something series) and I was really impressed with what it could do. I'd go look at a few then check out the prices online for them. The big retailers like B&H or Adorama offer up some good deals on them at times. Could also look on their websites for a used one like you want. There's also KEH camera in Atlanta that deals in used camera's at good prices. I've used all of the one's listed and would recommend them to buy from.

I have this but I guess I want something a little bigger maybe I am in the market for a DSLR . I know pretty much zero about cameras .
