I crunched my right rear taillight. Not terribly and strictly cosmetic.

Since I'm not in that much of a hurry, I want to shop around for a good looking pair. I know Meso makes a killer set, but I can't handle $750 right now...

have you guys had any luck with these?? Let me know what you think if you have tried them. Or if you have links to ones you've bought and had success with.

    Thanks for the help!!

What makes them an upgrade from OEM?

not necessarily an "upgrade" per say, but these are black with a clear lens and my current ones are red lenses. also the price for 2 here is a little more than a factory oem replacement. wondering about build quality if you have used them before...

the Amazon reviews seem pretty happy with them.

I hear you on the price, just seems the market is flooded with bunk Tacoma taillights. If they aren't instant aquariums, they're getting sun baked in 30 days.
I almost boarded the WinJet train right before it went off the tracks.

I have no experience with these lights in particular, but If I backed into something today, I pick up an OEM, new or used. I see new ones, stripped @ $130 bucks. Salvage yard would probably have one waiting at the front counter for $50 - $75.

    YMMV..

Good call... my left side still looks new. might just replace with a factory oem and call it a day if i cant find a used one.

I actually ordered these and just put them on this week. Got an Amazon gift card for Christmas, and won a few hundred bucks from fantasy football. So I figured what the heck. I kept my stock ones just in case.

They shipped from NJ. A snow storm caused a delay, so it took a bit for them to get here. BTW I see you're in Twin Falls, I'm in Mountain Home! They work, they fit, come with bulbs... I'm happy with them. Just as advertised. Granted it's only been a few days, guess time will tell.

They look exactly like my OEM Limited tails.

I’ve had them on the truck for over a year with no issues. Very quick install and perfect fitment. No moisture either like some have reported with the OEM tails...

they have the clear lens like the limited, but black bezel instead (TRD Pro replicas) - limited has chrome bezels

My 2017 has black "chrome", they look the same as the pic from @oneup714. But it must be the angle.
    Here they look black:

I got my pair of these. No quality issues that I could spot.

However, the blackout lights look weird when paired with the white/light gray ("TRD OFF-ROAD" decal on the Blazing blue pearl trim.

Does anyone have a picture of the TRD pro lights on a BBP without the with letters?
