I’ve scoured TW for exact directions but most threads are over my head. I’ve been trying to wire the fog light kit and led blinkers since installing my summit bumper and have had a challenge. I have a 2017 Tacoma OR.

The fog lights come with HB4 bulbs and Not HB4 wiring harness. I decided to bypass their supplied harness by replacing the female connector of the stock harness. I assume this would work if I plug this back into the original?

Now the trickier part is wiring the supplied led light that function as a blinker and marker. There is a green, red and black from these lights. I believe most people say one of them goes to the hot on blinker (can’t remember green or red) and vis versa for the other wire that will go to the hot for the DTRL portion while black is grounded. I’m still afraid I can’t find these wires and where to splice into. Finding the exact wiring is the hardest part for me. Any help please?

I think I understand the first part of your question with the fog assembly.

When I did my 2013 truck I purchased the opposing plug (I forget if it was male or female, but basically looked like the stock bulb connection) and soldered that into the ARB harness so I wouldn't need to cut anything on the truck.

As far as the second part, unfortunately I haven't had my Tacoma headlights apart yet, but when I did a DRL kit on my wife's CX-5 I was able to take my multimeter to the connector that ran to the running lights and isolate which wire did which. I don't know if the Tacoma has a separate connector or not, so that may not be a huge help, so I apologize in advance.

Thanks for your 2 cents. Just need some more clarification before I start splicing stuff up and making a mistake
