Good deal, I think you can get it in a 375ml. May just take the leap and grab some.

Not sure if/when I'll see a New Riff around here. Pretty readily available in your parts?

@bvbull200 plenty of bookers 2018-04 at the specs off 35e in lewisville/Carrollton today if you’re looking. I’m currently undecided on how I like it to the 2018-02/3 but have been trying to reach some conclusion. :burp::burp:

Thanks! I just had one picked up for me by a buddy. It might have even been that store. I'm headed to his place tonight to have a pour and do some woodworking. Looking forward to trying it!

Only time I have seen it is when I am passing through Lexington. Had a buddy pick up a bottle in Louisville and another in Cincinnati but haven't heard of it being anywhere else. Hope you get a chance to try it.

    Time for the weekend!

First bottle of single barrel I've had. Delicious in my opinion, may just be making a trip back to the candy store for few more bottles (limited availability until Feb. here it says).

Swung by a random store yesterday and found High West Bourye along with a bottle of Orphan Barrel Rhetoric 25, and a 1.75 Eagle Rare. Would never have guessed they had any of this. Gotta start looking in the not so obvious places for hard to find things obviously. Got some of it on hold since they're getting me a bottle of Midwinter Nights Dram in too.:D

I like a lot of different whiskeys. Elijah Craig small batch for me right now. I finished a bottle of Woodford Reserve double oak most recently.

Do you enjoy the OF1920? I’ve had a bottle of 1910 for months that I keep revisiting...I’m really not fond of it but have been leering at the 1920 on the shelf for awhile thinking I should try it..

I love the 1920. I've had two bottles. The first lasted 5 days after first opening - shared it with the whiskey club guys and such, but still. The second was finished the same night it was opened by a buddy and me :D.

Edit: Good eye, by the way ;).

No more bottles for a while. At least that's what I'm trying to tell myself! Had a great haul today with some good prices. A buddy and I are going to do some trading here in a few weeks.

Good haul! I've tried a lot of whiskies of all different types, prices, and profiles, but Glenmorangie Signet is my single favorite whiskey of them all. I have a bottle myself. I applaud your taste ;).

I'm so stoked to try it I've heard nothing but great reviews. Your favorite of all!? Man, that's impressive. Now I really can't wait to tear into it.

Last weekend I found it at a local shop but decided to pass on it. I'm glad I did, because I saved 60 bucks by waiting till I went to Total Wine in the big city today.

Yes, definitely my favorite of all. Wait until you see/feel the cork, too. The cap carries some heft to it.

Get some really good dark chocolate or chocolate covered dark cherries or something. They make a nice companion to the Signet. Or just have a pour neat with a refreshed palate.

It doesn't carry an age statement, but much of the whiskey in there is over 30 years old. It's not a limited edition, per se, but it is released in fairly limited quantities so as not to dry up their supply of old scotch. Not to plant tasting notes in your mind, but I get this dark chocolate note that I don't really find in anything else. I'll shut up, there, and look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

Man, you guys are killing me with this! Just checked and it looks like the local TW has it in stock, for $220! Yikes. Damn, from @bvbull200 description, and all the awesome reviews, I may have to pick up a bottle. Damn.

The wife got home early, so we're off to dinner. I think I know what's for dessert tonight.

I get some toffee notes, almost chocolate, in Balcones Single Malt No. 1 and definite dark chocolate in a Wheated bourbon my buddy brought me from Grand Teton Distillery. One of my favorite flavors in whiskey.

Passed on it last weekend at 240. At Total Wine south of Houston it was 180 so I had to jump on it.

I found out that Total Wine prices vary by location, dependent on area competition. I saw a price listed on their website for a bottle of something was approx $25 cheaper in their Bay Area store vs the one by me. When I asked they mentioned it depends on the area.

The BevMo about 1 mile away from the TW here by me lists the Signet at $286! Double Yikes!!
