Anyone know if these will rub with 255/85/16 on a stock 4x4 SR?

I paid a local shop to put these on my steel OEM rims which have the same off set and BS. They fit my truck just fine no rubbing at all...stock! That being said, ALL tacos vary just slightly. The only reason I dont have them on now is I found some 32" Falken Wildpeaks delivered for $400.00. Just couldnt pass up that price!

If they didnt fit without rubbing you would be one of the unlucky few.

    Good luck!

I had 235/85/16 Ko2s on my SR when I purchased it. No rub and clean clearance. Leveled it and put 265/75/16's on it and sold the other tires. I think you should be just fine.

If I am positive its the offset that the spacers made that made you rub?

I put on 255/85/16 on my stock steelies and they didnt rub at all. I did not use 1.5 spacers either. My rims and set up was completely stock except for the plastidip! Maybe I just got lucky with the alignment.

My SR has "intermittent" wipers, but they are manual. I just push up on the wiper control for a one swipe function. Very easy and simple.

This is my sons SR. We bought it for him when he graduated high school to commute to college. Luckily he had saved every penny ever given to him so he did some small mods like a lift and TRD Pro wheels (ebay and later discovered they were reps) tint and keyless entry. My first car in 1989 was a toyota pickup so it's come full circle. I liked his truck so much I ordered one for myself that will be here soon.

His was, as mine will be, the cheapest tacoma you can buy... he deserves better but loves it. Maxtrac lift with 1 inch spacers in the rear to make up for the wider track the spindles created. 285's for the tires (Nitto somethings) zero rubbing. I think it was a 4 inch lift overall like a 4 front and 3 rear. We wanted it to sit dead level and that's not easy here in San Diego where everyone likes the front to ride much higher than the rear.

This was meant to be a the budget builds of all budget builds and I think we did it. As his dad I think its a perfect first truck with no back seat and must be the slowest thing on the San Diego freeways ;)
