Realized that I spend more time on TW then I do with my family so lets get this rolling.

Purchased a 2009 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4 AT V6 around June 2018 off a guy that worked at method that sold it because he bought a Colorado ZR2

Truck had 163k Miles on it with one heck of a good maintenance record for fluid change by him.

The truck was already decently modified but have plans for much more.

    First wash!

    IMG_1161.jpg

Found tears in the Softopper, Reached out to their team and had a patch kit sent out at no extra cost

    IMG_1177.jpg

    What the heck is that?!

    IMG_1916.jpg

    Ahh, much better

    IMG_1917.jpg

Had a tear in the steering wheel so Ebay leather steering wheel wrap in progress

    IMG_1918.jpg

These trucks make hauling bikes a joke!

    IMG_1622.jpg

Went up to Poly Canyon in San Luis Obispo and had a little fun

Went to service the rear shocks and found out that one didnt have any oil!

    IMG_1685.jpg

Went offroading after rebuilding them then heard a huge POP. Found out that the 2.0 shocks are VERY volume dependent. having just a bit more oil then needed leads to the shock exploding.

Now that wont be fixed easily....

Due to the catastrophe with the icon 2.0's, went to the next logical step.

    2.5s!

    Nice I like!

You happen to have a trail file for that Big Bear route? KML or GPX or something? I want to hit some snow this season once I finish some armor upgrades next week.

Unfortunately do not have a trail route but if you type 3N16 on google maps, it will take you to the trailhead.

Had some free time and was tired of getting my fenders all scratched up so Plastidip became the weekend activity of choice.
