    Yea, but they usually dont need much!

    A few front wheel bearings, brake jobs and oil changes mostly.

    The only check engine light issues ive seen were evap system leaks.

    The 1st gens all need timing belt/water pumps around 100k. Those are gravy..

    Those commercials are annoying. You can always tell who is out-selling Chevy because they mention them in the commercial! You never see a toyota commercial where they get some guy to trade in his chevy for a toyota. Toyota doesnt even mention any other car companies in their commercials. They dont have to when they're way out in front in sales

    You can see it in the new Chevy Colorado. They had to load that thing up with lockers, crawl control, fancy shocks, etc to try and lure people away from the tacoma

    How far away is the closest resort/ski hill from you? Stevens is about 2 hrs from Seattle with no traffic.

    Cost wise, its easier when you own all your gear. If you're renting it adds up. Also, ive been buying season passes for about 10 yrs. I pay about 700 inc tax for an unlimited season pass. That might sound like a lot but day passes are 70-80 bucks. Once i go at least 9 or 10 times in a season (i usually go between 20-30 times) after that im riding the chair for free. All i need is gas, beer, food and :rasta:

    3 hours for me so it's not bad. But I'm saving up for a house so no "big" time expenses for me for a bit. I'd like to go a few more times before I buy my own gear, but then again I loved the shit out of it so who knows
