What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

3 and 1/2 weeks later, I finally have my Caliraised LED ditch lights and brackets. First impressions are that they are pretty bright in the day light, but I’m excited to see how the perform at night. Install was beyond easy. Here’s some pics, ill update at night when i can get some better output shots.

 

If you have a bad feeling about a vehicle when you pull it over. (Blacked out window tint and the driver doesn't immediately roll the window down) You get on your loud speaker before ever approaching the vehicle and order the driver and all passengers to roll all windows down and put their hands out. At least that's how I remember it being taught.

hahaha There are lots of reasons why I would never live in Saudi Arabia. #1 being how they treat their women like subordinates. My wife handles her own, vary rarely does it get to the point where she has to call me in for back up. I am not talking feminist crap either, she will just shove a whole plate full of knowledge down your throat. Leave you questioning yourself. Only person that can get at me!

Seems to be common place for rear shocks on 4runners. I've installed a lift on a 5th Gen and know first hand what you're talking about. The good thing about it is that I now have the tools to do lifts in less time now. If I were to choose to do a lift between a taco and 4runner based on how easy the job is, the taco wins, hands down.

I just bought the 2LO kit from @Up2NoGood. Can't wait to install it! Front and rear winch mount (can't see if you already have one). Extended range fuel tank if yours is a short bed (can't tell in the pic). One of my favorite "add ons" was my KTM in the bed.

 

Got the front winch and the short bed, I have been jealous of my buddy's ~1500 mile range with his aux fuel tank

Ya...I REALLY wish I could get a long range tank for my AC.

 

Armor? Sliders/Skids? Locker? Camper Shell? Bed Rack? Engine mods? Headers/Intake/Exhaust?

Sliders and a roof rack

 

Nothing major, mud flap and exhaust pipe delete to get some more clearance in the rear. Thinking about losing the tow hitch but might throw a recovery ring in it. Want to order the u bolt flip kit soon as well.

 

All good options. Probably not getting into the engine performance just yet but I have thought about exhaust, sliders, skids and a rear locker

It's my daily driver and weekend warrior. The red clay on it from the first pic was from a trip I took up in the North Georgia mountains. Eventually I'd like to take it out to Moab and have some fun with it

If you want to anything more than just dirt roads, sliders are practically a must. I would highly consider a set of those as one of your priorities.

you could get a set for a little less than half of your budget.
