Not sure where you are located but Chuck's Trucks in Nashville did mine, along with a bunch of other stuff.

I did the 8540 version (programs to your factory key and wires in to the door locks to use with factory key fob) in my driveway. A bit of a pain to route the wire up high under the truck to stay out of everything's way all the way to the forward cab, but the instructions are clear and they give a very good length of extra slack wire at the ends. Quality seems good, and so far zero issues. I do recommend, especially if you get a hard bed cover of some sort.

I installed one on my 1st gen, non-electric or anything. If you're looking to DIY I'm pretty handy & can try and help. I'm located in Franklin.

I installed the power tailgate lock on my 19' OR. Used kit PL8535 got off Amazon for about $80. Routing the wires takes a little time but other than that it's easy. Google you tube videos if you need help. There is also a guy on here that sells a plug and play adapter that makes connecting the wiring a no-brainer. I love mine. You might want to add a sound mat or dampener inside the tailgate to get rid of the hollow sound when the lock operates.
