Recently Ohio legalized medical marijuana use. Was thinking about applying for a card and then read that if you get it you give up your rights to own a gun. This seems so crazy to me for many reasons. Basically this means you also give up your right to hunt and also give up your right to defend yourself and your family. If I have a medical marijuana card can anyone else own and possess a gun in my home? This all just seems crazy to me..........

Same in MO. My wife wanted to get one for treatment and I was wondering if someone broke in and she used my firearm to defend herself if she'd be tried as a felon. Wish it'd just pass at the fed level so the people who need it can get it without repercussion.
