OOOHHH CRAAAPPP! I have the same switch/same location. My fit fairly snug when I installed it months ago but I had to trim a little. Nervous now.

Among some little things, emptied the oil catch can.
I'm always so amazed to see the amount of oil catched in 5,000 miles.
This is really an helpful, and cheap mod !

iJDMTOY Lower Bumper 31.5" LED Light Bar Kit For 05-up Toyota Tacoma & 14-up Tundra, Includes (1) 150W High Power Combo Beam LED Lightbar, Lower Bumper Opening Mounting Brackets & Relay Wire Switch ....this is the description of the whole kit it came in off of Amazon, when the cheap light craps out I will upgrade to a Rigid until then it works fine...had it in 2 feet of water, multiple puddles, bounced it 60 miles in and out of logging roads and trails, brackets held, light is fine and still aimed correctly, I did buy a rocker switch for a cleaner install. Had to bend the brackets in about an inch. Chalked the inside of the grill where I cut off the side fin...take it slow tape it off to prevent scratches...its a 2 hour job that I took 4 hours to do. Good luck have fun, it's worth it, huge difference off road.

Spent a couple hours with a multi-meter, wiring diagrams and my truck to figure out the remaining wires.
I need to order some wire, connectors and pins so I can fully install the navigation. I'm saving the steering wheel controls for last.

I'm making custom harnesses so I don't have to tap into any wires and no fuse taps will be used.
I have everything figured out except for the parking brake wire for the head unit (connector N25, pin 15). I've looked in the navigation owners manual and I see no mention of the parking brake, so I think I can leave that not connected.

No resistors. Just took the old bulbs out and plugged the new ones in. Easiest mod. They light up my entire garage. Literally a night and day difference.

Did a couple of things today.

1st...a coolant swap. One of two drain and fills. I'll do the 2nd one next weekend.

    20190119_094600.jpg 20190119_095207.jpg 20190119_105553.jpg

Another little thing I did today. I'm getting ready to start a series of drain and fills with the transmission.

So I bought an OBDII male connector... $6.50 from Amazon. I tied pins #4 and #13 together. No more fanagiling with a jumper wire. Just plug and play. Will make entering temp check mode a breeze.

Marked the pins with a green Sharpie .

    Made a permanent jumper.

Plug it in when I need it.

Oh...and I installed a new JVC touch screen HU in my oldest daughter's Yaris the other day.

Nice! Do you mind me asking how much you paid? I have a well known guy local here that did some work for me.

I think it ended up costing around $225 and he had removed 20 some-odd small dents from around the car.

I bought mine new and this weekend hits the 10 year mark with 96k. Time for some maintenance and upgrades.

    • Brakes - 14WA Upgrade - Rotors, Calipers, Pads - 277$ (+dust shields) & Fluid flush all 4.
    • Suspension - New Mogg LCA's, Upper ball joint (SPC), UCA bushings, Outer Tie rod ends, Front Strut Mounts, Front Struts (Replaced OME 90000 with 90021), Rear Shocks.
    • Drive train - CVJ Axles, ECGS Front Diff Bushing, Front Diff Axle seals,Front Diff Fluid, Wheel bearing and hubs, spindle seals, transfer case fluid, rear diff fluid.
    • Engine - New Plugs, New Belt cleaned MAF and Throttle body.
A few notes for those near the 100k with a not so great maintenance routine.

As expected my front diff magnet was dirty, very dirty. Stop reading the forums and go change yours.

Drivers side strut mount hole had worn allowing movement.

I didn't measure the factory original plugs, but I bet the gap was double the recommended from age. FTR even with such poor gap, My mileage has been on par. still no excuse.

OME's had about 75k and one was much slower to rebound (when off) and I am still waiting on the other one to move.
