Hello, Glad to be here. My Tacoma came with the factory tow package. I am planning on towing a 19' Escape Fibergalss RV with it. Does anyone use air suspension on their Tacoma for towing or is any suspension augmentation necessary. It appears that with my trailer options and added cargo I will bet looking at 4200-4500 pounds. Thanks!

Thanks for that link. I did read that and it was helpful. I looked up my VIN# and it indicates that I have a factory installed class 111 hitch, not a class IV as that post describes. Should I upgrade to a class IV?

That’s interesting. I was not aware that any Tacoma’s came with a class IV hitch. I’m no expert, but I think you would be fine with the class III and a weight distrubiting hitch.

Welcome aboard! if you plan on staying at stock ride height, firestone ride rites are a nice upgrade for towing and keeping things leveled. They can also be used with a lift, but you'd need some daystar cradles to keep the bags from binding. I have the firestones on my truck, they're very nice quality and have great adjustability

+1 for the firestone riderites. They keep the truck level and help maintain handling.

My camper weighs in around 1k dry:
