I didn't even know about until weeks after they did the install. Kinda hard to go back and say you did this shit wrong weeks ago, now give me my money back. I chalked it up to I need to learn my shit more so I don't get fckd in the future.

Yeah, man, and I definitely need to do that. Truck is getting so many clanks, grunts, groans, moans, and other noises I need to learn all this rather than paying somebody else to tell me what they think it is, and overcharge for it may or may not be.

True story.... ..... Unless youre banking hundred to couple a year everyone should learn and do their own work IMO. If I paid someone to build my buggy and do the maintenance and repairs, then rebuilds. I'd be around 150k in it.

The work I did today on the new axles took me 4 hrs to cut off and design a new diff cover EST about 1100 in labor/work.

But luckily for me. I'm to dumb to think about what could go wrong. My mind says get it done dummy lol

I was talking about that ring gear that's the width of your hand. I have never seen one taken apart and have been intrigued by your IG posts.

Nice! Hope you'll still have it relatively torn down on the 9th so I can gawk at how it works. Can't wait to see the new set up under the buggy it's going to be awesome!

When the weld are that big. It's hard to make the really nice. That was .375" plate and ran the corner joints in one pass. I prefer stringer's. Smooth steady constant weld

    Sup suckers

Finally got my second eye done last week wednesday (cataract surgery). (Watch a you tube vid, it grossed me out, i could not finish watching) All went well, recovering fine, feels great, cant see shit though. Not cleared to drive yet, wouldnt feel comfortable driving at this time either. Going in tuesday to get a pre-emptive pair of glasses crafted up, will be a few days after that till i get them if all gies smooth and fast. They dont like to even think about a prescription until 4 weeks, but i am special :D Will get a re-lense at 60 or 90 days. I have so much astigmatism, there is no off the shelf solution. No 1 hour glasses places are an option either. Bleh, pretty frustrated, but this is short term and should be good for the long haul here in a week or so. I have been off work since last weds. I will bum a ride to the office tomorrow with @HrBrad8 and have the wife come get me home in the afternoon. Might be productive at work, might not be able too. I am not self sufficienty mobile, and even if I was, i dont know if i should be looking at pricing up fixing shitty buildings, might really miss something, cuz cant really see shit. Plenty of computer stuff to get done, if i can see it. I can see my ipad and phone from 4” away

This sounds promising! Glad the issues with the other eye have cleared up. You could price up those shitty buildings since you can't see how shitty they are they will just need more work . Hope recovery continues to go well and you'll be back to normal soon!

This kind of shit pisses me off. Drinking beer while wheeling and not only having your kids in the vehicle but also your friends kids. :censored: Not to mention this was at FPK. His wife even said you are getting a beer already WTF.
