Nice to see there are other local sxs riders on TW. I bought my ‘13 RZR 900 xp back in November. Sooo much fun! So far I’ve only played a couple days on the Hatfield McCoy trails and a couple times at brown mountain state park. My next time out will be Carolina Adventure World. The previous owner installed high clearance control arms, doors, windshield, roof, and a light bar. All I have done so far is a bunch of maintenance crap, new skid plates, and a winch. These things can be money pits if you’re not careful, but they are so worth it!
Edit: Like you, I also peeled off all the graphics. Yours is so awesome btw!

Awesome! They're definitely a stupid amount of fun for sure! CAW was a good time but super sloppy wet. Us Carolina TW'ers started a SxS FB group if you're interested. It's expanded a little to include some people that aren't from TW but that's our roots. Myself, @OCD 08, @caterpilllartacoma, @Carrionman, etc. are on it.

Let me know next time you head out and I'll see if I can't get out there with you too. Being down in Charleston makes everything super far for day trips but anything's possible.

That sounds cool! I haven’t been on FB for probably a decade, but things like this sometimes make me tempted to re-join. I was actually planning a day trip to CAW this Saturday, but the family and I ended up getting tickets to the Queen City Brewers Festival instead. Should be fun though.
I hate being cold, so I’m not really planning any camping overnight trips for another month or two. Then it’s on!

Good deal...I joined FB for Tacoma stuff originally but it’s morphed into just being able to keep up with my interests (Taco, RZR, Smoking Meats, etc.).

I really want to do Durham Town and Windrock once it warms up a tad but I’d roll to CAW with you for a day trip.

Was a good time until I had to clean it up the next day...I’m not a fan of mud at all but I did enjoy the size of the park.

Have not been to Outback...it still amazes me how many spots there are that I’ve never heard of.

I can’t believe how many spots are relatively local. It’s nice to have the variety to choose from. When I used to off-road in my Tacoma, I would sometimes have to travel up to six hours each way just for a two day trip.

Sweet Honda. I’ve got a 2016 Foreman that I just sold to my uncle for his hunting lease. You need to come out with us too...would be a blast to get a nice little group together.

I know right? I think we were at AOP together a year or so ago...that was like an 11 hour one way trip for me. I’d like to go again in the RZR but stay more than one night.

Thanks man. I’m always down for a good ride. Just hard to find the time. Mines a 17 with 300 miles on it. Sits a lot

Yep, fun trip! I remember getting pretty drunk that night. Doing that trip again with the RZR would be awesome!

I blew out a front shock Saturday over at Carolina Adventure World. I would have sent out an invite, but I literally decided to go an hour before I went. o_O I’m sure I just got it hot, and blew out a seal. ALL the fluid poured out.
@dan0mite , who did you get your tender springs from, and do they sell shocks and shock rebuild parts as well? And were they a good vendor to work with? I am trying to figure out if I want to just rebuild my stock shocks or if I want to use this as an opportunity to upgrade.

Got my tender springs from here: https://allthingzutv.com/rzr-aid-tender-springs/

No idea about rebuild parts but my overall experience with them was "okay". No problems with the springs.

I was stalking that thread a little. :spy: I couldn’t go, but I definitely had to see the pictures after the fact. Looked like a lot of fun.
