Hey everyone. I've been lurking on these forums for a few weeks since I decided I wanted a Tacoma. I know I want a short bed double cab with 4wd. I'm not partial to something that has a bit of miles, as I dont mind working on it a bit. I want something to daily around, but also take offroading on the weekends, hence the 4wd. Looking for any advice on what to look out for or tips and tricks tall have. Thanks for any help, I look forward to any advice yall give, and to being a part of your community.

I'm looking for a second gen between 08-15. Planning of lifting it at some point so if it already has one that's a plus!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

You should definitely educate yourself on lifts if you haven’t already. Know what you are looking at before you buy.

That looks like a really well put together build. I do really need a double cab though as I have people in my vehicle quite often.

Budget depends on the vehicle. I'd rather pay a little more for a better vehicle in the long run. Probably between 12-22k depending on the truck
