Seems like all the molded custom fit floor mats I find online for my truck say they are specific to auto transmission models. Do they not fit my truck at all if its a stick shift? thanks for any help.

Weathertech in mine. I just had to notch a section out for the clutch pedal. No more interference. Just used a really sharp pocket knife and it was a done deal. Weathertech actually suggested doing this in the installation instructions.:thumbsup:

They say auto only because with a manual the pedals can hang. My Weathertechs did that and 30 seconds with a pocket knife the issue was solved.

I've definitely seen some companies make molded or laser cut floor mats to accommodate the manual.

As others have mentioned, when I got my weathertech's it took me about 30 seconds to realize my pedal was getting stuck. I took them out, and make a nice cut until the pedals moved freely. If you make a nice line, it almost looks stock.

Weathertech's and a carpet knife, but the auto one for the manual. The problem is that the clutch pedal hangs up. YMMV

Any picture of what everyone is trimming on the Weathertechs?

In 5+ years, mine has never once hung up on the clutch pedal.

Just a notch in the mat so the clutch pedal can move fully without obstruction from the mat. It literally like a square inch removed from the mat.

I just went out and checked my '13. There is no way the clutch pedal can hit the mat at all. My son got me these for Christmas a few years back. I wonder if he ordered them for a manual trans. The mats have a notch at the top from the factory that clears the pedal by quite a bit.

+1 for having to trim my Weathertech driver mat for the clutch pedal. It was still drive-able but super annoying without trimming. It's definitely better with the extra clearance.

My mat has about a one inch x four inch notch in the top edge in the area where the clutch pedal would have contacted it. That is how they came new. Are you saying you need to cut it more than that to clear the pedal?

Out of the box my Weathertech mat was straight across on top (no notch.)

Interesting. I wonder if they changed at some point. Mine were from three Christmases ago.... 2015 if I recall right.

I have a 2013 MT and my WeatherTechs work fine without modification. I've never had an issue with the clutch sticking.

I bought mine used about 5 years ago.

I wonder if they made a transmission specific set at one point?
