I'll be the first to say that I have a very pretty mall crawler. Currently running a 3 to 1 inch spacer/block lift with 285/55 r20 nittos on my 2017 dcsb 2WD and don't go offroad. My current setup is way to rough on any road imperfections, manhole covers, uneven pavement etc. Really just want a nice smooth ride with good dampening. I've been researching different setups and the more reviews I read, the more torn in different directions.
I know I want maxtrac 4in spindles. I started by looking into 5100s but realized that my budget could allow for an upgraded set of coilovers.
Looked at toytec boss kit but you can't drop the lift to 0, lowest the coilover can be set to is 1inch. I don't want 5 inches of lift right now.
Then was looking at fox 2.0 but have read mixed reviews concerning road comfort (very firm ).
I'm just not sure how to pick the right setup. I got a parts budget of about 2k. I've been in contact with Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she's been very helpful. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
