    Even colder this morning

Feels like -46 C is a thing that most people just should not experience.

I wouldn’t eat out of Lake Ontario unless you went right out there in a boat during salmon season. Backcountry lakes are the way to go. Kawarthas are great for pickerel. I personally don’t fish much for food, mostly for sport/conservation.

When I go up to Algonquin this year I’ll probably try to fish for some brook trout to eat though. Download the app Fishbrain. It’s got a great map where people around you share decent fishing spots and tips and what to look out for. I think to get the full shebang you have to pay for it but I have used the free version okay to find hidden ponds to trespass into lol :spy:

I've talked to some avid fishers at work before and from what I understand you can eat Lake Ontario stuff no problem because salmon don't stay in one place long .The fish you see one day you'll never see again. All the garbage in our water close to the city doesn't really affect them because they're not around it long enough.

I don't fish so can't say for sure but my cousin is huge into it as well . And he goes fishing down at the Bluffs in Scarborough all the time . I've eaten it and I'm still here lol

I think its just the mental stigma of eating a fish out of a groggy looking body of water, I have eaten lots of Lake Ontario fish and I'm not dead. It just appears gross lol.

So I'm sitting in the truck while the compressor does it's thing. Looks like whatever took out the front passenger also damaged the rear. Fml

Almost at 14 psi on the front. Then off to re-inflate the rear. There goes the day.

Hope the valve core doesn't stick open when you release the chuck... Apparently @Norilsk has seen this happen on very cold days.

I had a can of WD40 Spray & Stay (WD40's Fluid Film clone) freeze at -10...

To answer a couple of questions.
    Wrangler Duratrac
    Not valve.

Truck is at KAL tire right now. Both are slow leaks. Front tire is middle of the tread and the worse of the two. Probably the same cause. Since I was monitoring tire pressure the entire run yesterday on my centre display, happened most likely when I pulled off on to the shoulder on hwy 32.

Filled both tires to 25 psi and drove it to the shop. Lost one psi on the front tire during the drive.

KAL tire then paid for the taxi to take me home while I wait and will send one to pick me up if you've never dealt with them, I'd highly recommend.

my butthole puckered up quite tight when I began sliding to the left. Never done that before so it was good to get some practice in, in a 'controlled' environment lol

Both tires are patchable? Should be a relatively quick job. Why did you need to wait at home?
