This has already been talked about I’m sure, OmE 90000/886 and HD Dakar’s going on today, very soon I’m wanting Stt Pro 285/75/16 for my 09dcsb trdOR after OMe will I be ok without CMC? Have full hoop relentless bumper up front for extra clearance but curious if cmc will be needed?

Probably not but I'm a first gen but my friends all drive 2nd gens and they all have CMC done. It's not bad if you have a local person that has done it prior

Man, looking at these photos make me want to get the 285's over the 265 but afraid im going to be rubbing. Also cant decide if a MT tire would be best for a daily driver for highways and such over more of all AT tire. I do like the looks of the STT pros tho!

How does the stt pro compare up to the KO2s for your daily driver? Love the look of the stt pro but scared of the wear would be much much faster than a AT tire.

I'm well into my 2nd set of STT PROs. The first set was on my truck just over 40k. I sold them to a buddy who ran em bald at 50k. My 2nd set is near 32k now. Will easily go another 15. Just keep em rotated.

I can’t compare to KO2’s but these Cooper’s are real smooth on the pavement. Road noise is very minimal for a mud tire. Even my wife hasn’t complained yet and we’ve gone over 80mph. These are the real deal.

Depends on how much you drive, mine we’re toast in 40k miles. That’s only 11 months for me. They did amazing offroad and looked great, just not a good fit for me at the price.
