strut spacers???

    cold air intake, led fog lights, and bull bar, american racing wheels
    so have a 1998 Tacoma sr5 that's always sagged in the front, I recently put 16" wheels on it and it rubs like crazy, so someone told me to install strut spacers in the mean time while I save up for an actual suspension lift, so needless to say I ordered some 2.5" spacers and I plan on putting them on tonight but I've been told it's quite a job I just needed some input and maybe some do's and don'ts from anybody who has got experience with this job.. thank you
