To Lift or not to lift???

    I see were some people have had to shim but others say the shim caused issues. I guess if I just take all the precautions up front I shouldn't have problems, At least I hope. Thanks for the help. I think I have made my mind up to go ahead with the lift. I just need to stop over thinking and just do it.Appreciate the info .

    King Lift, TC Upper Arms, MESO lights, SCS Wheels.
    Is doing the carrier bearing drop bad? That's the only thing I had done after lifting, still get vibes at 20-25mph. I have 3 degree axle shims on order, see if that helps.

    Not ideal, the front shaft should ideally remain unaltered. The ECGS CV bushing is the first thing I would do before any shims because it is the main cause for vibes in the 2nd and 3rd gen trucks.

    Start there, if that doesn’t fix the vibes then do shims. 20-25 mph was he exact same place I got vibes. The bushing fixed this for me.

    The stock needle bearing is garbage on these trucks, the bushing replaces it
