Hello TW! Just bought a 2019 SR5 Double Cab Long Bed! Love my purchase but would like some suggestions/opinions on some things.

    1) I know the truck bed is a composite bed, but is putting something like the WeatherTech Bedliner worth it? Is there a better option? (I live in Florida so rain is heavy in the summers)

    2) I would like a Hard Tonneau cover on the truck, but have no idea where to begin between the different brands. Advice on which on is best?

    3) I would also like to put in some running boards, again, I have no idea where to start. So opinions again.

    Thanks all in advance.

    Welcome!

    1) Most people use the OEM bed mat from Toyota.

    2) https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/tonneau-covers-caps-and-shells.198/

    3) There are many options. Look into sliders vs steps and decide which one you would rather have and go from there. Sliders will mount to the frame and provide protection when off-roading. Steps are mounted to the cab and are only there to step on.

Welcome to TW! The Tacoma bed mat ( https://amzn.to/2W8wJFJ ) is great not only for protecting the bed but from keeping things (including yourself) from sliding around.

^ Thats a great place to start. Look at pictures until you find some that you like, then start shopping for them. You might be able to save some money by checking Craigslist, Facebook, or the buy/sell/trade section on here.

Haha it’s all good. We have all been there. I have no experience with any mud flaps other than OEM. I think Husky and Weathertech make some that are hard plastic like the OEM ones. There are other companies like Rek Gen and Rok blokz that make some that are more durable.
