I am considering replacing my headers + cat + y-pipe for 2 reasons:

    1) Damaged A/F sensor threads even though they have been cleaned and chased.
    2) Higher clearance transfer case skid.

I would like to retain the 4 sensors (2 A/F and 2 O2) if possible. I am leaving CA but the truck originated here. I would like to hear about your experiences: sensors worked without codes, would it clear a transfer case skid designed for an exhaust reroute, heat issues for the transfer case or drive shafts, etc.

2010 V6 4x4 AT is normally aspirated with stock air filter. My cursory searches found this system by AFE. Seems to fulfill all my needs and I could always have new sensor bungs welded on if I run into issues again.

I'll keep searching to see if I can answer my own questions but I welcome your suggestions. I am still researching my options but its important that I have all this sorted out before school starts in the summer.

As always, thank you for your thoughts and feedback.

No personal experience but sounds like a very high $/gains ratio

Have you run aftermarket headers before? I looked at those same ones. Aftermarket headers tend to be far louder in the cab than stock. The stock manifolds are dual wall for sound suppression. Aftermarket units are single wall and will be louder. Balance the characteristics that are most important to you.

Yes, it is pricey for what would be gained. My hopes are not for more power but I was weighing the cost of a fix for the stock headers (shops won't weld a new bung on) and the exhaust relocate. I'm trying to get used exhaust manifolds but I'm researching other options.

Back in the day I had an Integra and loved the exhaust but now I'm more conservative. The sound would be an issue for me but not a deal breaker. I'm much more mellow and can cruise at 2k which hopefully isn't too bad in the cab.

Thanks for the heads up, ill keep it in mind.
