If you lost it you never really had it.

Might take some practice to get things all working together again

TRUUUUUU. I just get nervous and it makes my welding skills go back to nonexistent. Although I’ve only busted a test once. So far lol

Do I remember your not that old ?

Just why do you get nervous being around strange people and places ?

    It comes with age

I do know wearing ear plugs is a great help for me I can focus better not as distracted by outside influences

Craig, you really need to use the "multi quote" feature. I don't know what previous post you are referring to.

    Lots of sail boat fuel

Also depends if you weld portable as well, just food for thought. Ex. Pharma tube. I'm tossing a brush, bandsaw, file, cloth, and my weld setup in my back seat. It's nice to just have a small bottle for tucked away jobs. But if you have half a factory to purge and no balloon , that case might be different
Yup. No worries. They're just people waiting to pay you for your welds! Good luck !

Anywho. Bout time to put my hand on a mug gun again. Been ....3 years? Got some sliders to blast on

i have a 40 at home now. 20 was way too small, that and i may have forgotten to turn it off. either way ive been getting in the habit of turning it off if im not welding again within a few minutes. making seat brackets is time consuming in between measuring/cutting/fitting

Some more practice today. I really need to practice more often. Seeing some improvements but not exactly where I wanna be before I start building anything.

Building stuff is actually a great way to learn. Just do basic stuff that isn't like structural. Cart, table, material rack type stuff.

Yeah just trying to get more comfortable with my welds. First thing I'm gonna make is a welding table.

I got my self in the habit of always checking tanks a long time ago, whether at work or home I can't walk by an oxygen or gas tank without checking it, call it o.c.d. but I never have a tank left on lol

How big? I just use my harbor freight welding table and it works well and easy to carry in and out. Could even get 2 or 3 and bolt then together if wanted

For something that's going to go out on the lawn, bigger is better for easier rolling. HF has 8" and 10" pnuematic casters, both rigid and swivel for cheap.

    Motorize it. :drevil:

The longer you can make the ramp the easier it will be because it's shallower.

As long as you keep the table as light as possible it might not be to bad .

It depends how firm the yard is stuff just wants to sink speaking from experience

Not on a welding table, but I built a cart that I am using for axle tear downs. I went with these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DD1D2 and I am able to move it around well in dirt/gravel.
