I have an 07 Tacoma 2.7L (2TR-FE). Has a rear cab and aftermarket A/C system to transport frozen foods. My Alternator is not putting out enough power to run the system. I've tried looking for a high output alternator but no one seems to make one for this year model cause the alternator is too small.

Is there another alternator that I can fit in this truck. Or can I use a high output alternator made for the V6-4.0L (1GR-FE) engine with modifications? Anyone with any ideas would be great, thanks.

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
    email this guy from excessiveamperage.com : nathanpeddicord@yahoo.com

i emailed him before looking for an alt for my 4 banger and he quoted me $360 for a 180 amp alt shipped to my door that will bolt right on
