Agreed. Some of my colleagues collaborate with SFPUC currently. When I was a consultant I worked on the New Irvington ? Tunnel - NIT project for SFPUC.

I regularly work with engineers on Capitol projects.

    Cheers.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Finally got a full time gig doing what I've dreamed about since middle school, despite my family's wishes. I am now a fully dedicated local truck driver for a small livestock feed company near town. Hourly pay and home every night, I didn't even have to get stuck doing OTR like I feared I would. I had a brief job at the end of the summer driving a gravel belly dump for a road construction outfit, but that fell through due to early winter arrival and I was laid off after a month so didn't get much seat time as I wanted.

Truck is a 2007 International 9200i day-cab, 10spd and Cummins ISX engine with just over 360k miles.
Trailer is a 42' aluminum auger tanker, with one auger in the belly as well as a vertical auger that can swing out, be raised and lowered depending on where the product needs to be unloaded via remote control. Has 8 seperate bins total, and the gates are operated by cranks along the driver's side flank of the trailer. The SP stickers are there for my and the company I work for's privacy, sorry! Congrats !! Been a Transportation Relocation Engineer [aka truck driver] for over 37 years, take your time and learn everything you can about this screwed up industry, it’s not for everyone. Remember it’s winter, so slow down and take it easy, there’s no load worth risking your life or someone else’s , you are the captain of your ship, not your boss or anybody else, not comfortable driving in a storm, park it, it’s not worth it, and I’ve driven in a bunch of shit over the years. Take care and enjoy that ride.

Film and tv safety supervisor/ medic/ water safety coordinator. Basically I help shows create a relatively safe stunt for competition reality shows, and work with stunt coordinators during filming of stunts on shows. From topside to underwater, tops of mountains, remote locations around the globe, I’ve been there and done that. My dream job.
