Hello, I have 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD that for the past 2 to 3 years has had a very sensitive front suspension and play on the steering wheel. This all started when I had a front wheel alignment done at the dealership where I bought it. I just had a slight pull to the left and since I was already at the dealership getting an oil change i decided to go ahead and get it aligned with a highspeed balance. Before I had this done it drove perfectly just with a slight pull to the left. Well, they made my alignment worse. I had to bring it back 4 times for them to get it done correctly. After 4 times coming back they finally got it to align right but I noticed right away that it was very sensitive. Obviously, I did not go back, i figured I get it done somewhere else to fix the sensitivity issue. My truck has never been crashed, never taken off road, never experienced any rough terrain. It drives like an old truck now. My father has a 2008 Nissan Frontier and it drives perfect. I read several other post on this same exact issue but I have never read what fixed this issue. I was hoping somebody can reply with a fix, this way I can take it to a mechanic and I can let him know what to adjust or replace.

    Do you have a lift?

I would take to a reputable shop that has the latest and greatest alignment rack.

No lift. Nothing has been changed on my truck. Well, I just bought some new tires and rims. But that didn't help! It still rides like crap!

I too have a 2014 trd and same issue! I notice my front tires are angled inward and when both suspension and steering is sensitive. When I am on the freeway its almost as if I'm a drunk driver swaying back and forth with every bump in the road. Every now and then I can hear a small high pitch thud when going over bigger bumps and can also hear a wierd high pitched hum as I drive but cant tell if its the front or the rear driver/passenger. I also had an alignment done multiple times, new tires rotated and balanced. Still the same. Makes me a nervous wreck driving it but its my only vehicle. About 2years ago I had to have the dealership replace the driver side shock. It was definitely out and now I cant tell if that plays a factor in this as well. I am still looking into this but if you find out anything, I would love the help!
