Nice! Yeah it’s no fun if you buy everything all at once, then the install seems more like work instead of a treat :bananadance:

@Mr.PowerTrays I saw you were working on that ARB airline shunt on IG. Any chance I could have you make a custom length one for me? Like 5-6ish feet? I thought about a DIY, but seems like you have exactly what I am looking for.

Thanks to Maverick and his attention to detail, my compulsions have been calmed.

Before Powertrays, my Switch Pros was mounted on my fuse/relay box along with some terminal blocks/buss bars:
    FBB7AE51-3021-44D7-92DF-B4C0C3FC2D70.jpg

I then tried the SDHQ side mount option and it made it worse. Buss bars removed and wiring left for dramatic spaghetti effect:

Final product after taking advantage of this awesome product:

In hindsight, I should’ve heat shrinked my connectors and made longer leads for my weather-proof connectors (not visible). However, I’m happy nonetheless.

Had a question for everyone. I went to install my Powertray today but my Redline strut gets in the way of the Bussman cover. I was thinking of adding a 0.5" spacer to clear the strut, would this work? Also no matter what I did I couldn't get the back M8 to thread into the truck and even if I did there was no way I was getting a wrench in there, so i was going to install with the front M8 and the fender support, it seemed solid. Just looking for overall suggestions, I didn't anticipate running into this issue.

Are you sure that lower bracket is supposed to be so far forward? On my 2nd GEN the bracket is way closer to the firewall. Not sure if they change their install directions or if the 3rd GEN is that much different.

Yeah that back bolt is a bear to get in. If you loosen the front bolt and the support leg you can tilt the tray up a little bit to help with the angle of that bolt and it’ll also give you some more room to work with.

No, I had it moved way forward in the picture to try and clear the strut mount, then realized that even in that position the hood couldn't close with it in the way. I think tomorrow I'm going to run to Home Depot and get some longer M8/M6 bolts and spacers to move it a half inch farther off the mounting point. It "should" work (also what I said when I went to mount both it and the struts this morning so don't cross your fingers).

    Ironically, that truck above.... lol

Maverick, I'd love to buy the blank power tray but unfortunately you do not accept PayPal.

If you have a personal PayPal account I can send you the funds via "Friends and Family" with no fees incurred.

Finally got it installed! So a few pointers to those that are looking to add a Power Tray to their truck.

I assembled the components, i.e, 6 circuit Blue Sea aux fuse panel and the Blue Sea circuit breaker, prior to installing. I did that so I could put a small drip of locktite on the bolts. I also measured, and measured again, the heavy hots and ground so I could wrap and shrink wrap without having to do it under the hood, glad I did. I also left enough of the light bar harness and relay wiring that I could pull the three tray bolts and have some play in the wiring to lift out of the way if needed. The two fender bolts and the brace bolt are tight spots, just have to be patient and take your time.

So I choose the 6 circuit Blue Sea cause I’m not adding a bunch of extras to my truck and the bolt holes for that aligned width wise. I left the upper two holes exposed and drilled another hole centered to those to mount my relay under the tray. Cleaned up pretty nice and although this wasn’t a cheap project I’m pretty happy how it all turned out.

A quick question for the experts here. I'm thinking of using an ML-RBS in place of the ML-ACR in a single battery set-up as a power cut-off for the winch. Installed on the Off-Grid battery tray.

Neither unit seems to be rated for under-the-hood operating temperatures. Has anyone with the ML-ACR ever experienced any sort of failure of either? Including a failure that might be attributed to heat?

    Thanks!

P.S. I've never read of a problem and therefore don't anticipate any. Additionally as a simple power switch compared to what you guys are doing with the ML-ACR seems like a total "non-problem". But thought I would ask since I'll be integrated with Power Tray, Switch Pro, winch, etc. Everything except a second battery.
