My roof track rails came in for the cap. Now to figure out install and what to either build or buy to put on it

 

So for an extra $15k, you get a TRD PRO badge on your Taco?

AFAIK, the only real difference between my T4R OR and the Pro are the Fox shocks, and I only paid $38k. And I could probably spend less than $2k getting a similar suspension setup.

Apparently, I can also get an Eiger 400 jug and it will bolt right up, no boring required.

 

At least they knew enough to sell me a truck tire. lol

 

They are a Cooper dealer. I think they push Coopers more than the other brands. I’ve bought several sets from them over the years.

 

I believe the TRD Pro's have leather seats, wheels, grill and lots of emblems/badges as well as the Fox suspension. Nothing I'd pay that much money for that's for sure

Morning all. Frigging rain sucks. My driveway is going to be a skating rink again by tomorrow, since it's supposed to be down in the low 20's again overnight.

They're a Goodyear dealer too, which is what my company carries. But yes, they're primarily Cooper, which is why I was joking about harassing him the next time he called in.

A good friend "Ski" used to do their alignments. I gave him that nickname back in H.S.

 

He lives about a half hour from me

 

That'd work. If I take a project like this on, I'd likely do it in my dad's garage in the Albany area. I don't have room to have the bike with the engine ripped apart in my little shed of a garage. I'd likely take the engine out of the bike at my house and then tear the engine itself apart at my dad's. He used to be a mechanic so I'd want his help on the re-assembly, specifically because he has a lot of the specialty tools that I'd have to rent or buy otherwise.

 

Just an FYI, cant speak for thumpers..

But, I know the Harleys, and some others( my old trumpet) require a torque plate to bore.

 

Yea I'd have go look into doing small engines more, but we have a Sunnen Hone and plenty of mills around. If it becomes an actual thing I'll look into doing it more in depth
