    I might abstain from formal advice until the code is known regarding the CEL. Specifically the URD headers aren’t too loud for my tastes, and I really don’t want a loud truck. I would say the loudness of the exhaust is heavily dependent upon the muffler and resonator combination. What exhaust do you have?

    I have a URD exhaust that has a magnflow muffler and vibrant resonator that does a good job at curtailing the exhaust note. However, I also have 4:88 gears and the exhaust noise in the cab is certainly louder than I’d like right now (keep in mind I have an FJ). I would think that if I had a bed with an exhaust tip outside the confines of the body, I’d be pretty happy. Exhaust sounds very good for this engine and not raspy as I currently have a stock y pipe with Cats.

    You stated you have a mid pipe, I assume URD. If you add headers, your exhaust could end up with a raspy less desirable note. Definitely something to be aware of.

    Good note on the cams. I haven't done any research.

    I have a Boomslang harness in my 1GR. Flawless construction. Connecting my Haltech.

    Engine builder that did my 1GR has also done at least one 1FZ. As an additional option only.

    I wouldn't mind a 1FZ in my 328is Bimmer. Giggity.

    Hey @Roostfactor, where did you post that graph of pulley size to supercharger speed? I'm curious how much faster and how much more air I move going from a 3.0 to a 2.5 pulley. Things are coming back together. Waiting on the freakin' o-ring. Trans valve body is installed. Shifts are good. Some additional tweaking of the solenoid was required to get rid of a shudder that predated the valve body install. That was my driveline vibration - converter shudder.

    I suspected the converter at one point for a thud I was experiencing. It went away when I replaced the driveshaft. Glad I was wrong!

    I re-removed my bypass restrictor jet yesterday. For those of you with the UCON and a 6spd i recommend it. Heavier throttle tip-in is much smoother vs before. With the restrictor jet in, i noticed a hard jerk/shudder if I got on the throttle a little too quickly. Now it feels like im rolling into the throttle even when getting on it. I was considering getting a sprint booster or pedal commander to try to work around this, but now im happy with it. Dont know if im making more boost or if vacuum has been affected, but its more drivable in my opinion

    Quick follow up on my failed cats. Swapped in my OE headers and issue was resolved, obviously. Got a lot of power back. Roads have been too slick to do any data logs yet to confirm all is well.
    And a shout out to aFe, they sent me a complete set of replacement headers with the HW kit. All I did was show picks of header removal, media stuffed in the Y-pipe, and a shot of my invoice through Amazon. Shipped to my door, no cost.
    A mean, I have helped sell some of their intakes so they kind of owe me anyways...

    Good on AFE for sending you new headers, but they may want to address their product's multiple failures on boosted applications...or start providing a disclaimer. I would only run these on an N/A setup after all the cases of failure.

    Referencing the equal lengths. They have been waiting to get ceramic coated for months. Someone ordered a few months back, was charged but still have not received product. Not cool.

    I don't need the cats where I live. Just trying to be good and keep the stink down. If I switched to long tubes I would add a 3" cat further down the line.

    Maybe it's time you improve on the equal length offerings...?
    Might be hard to keep it near the URD price point. To my small mind they look really complicated to fabricate...
